About KST

KS Technologies was founded in 2003 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. At its inception, KST primarily focused on web application development, providing "full turnkey services" including website design, graphical design, database creation, and server management. In 2005, KST authored its first desktop application for Apple's OS X operating system. This paved the way nicely for mobile applications development in 2007, when Apple launched the iPhone and made its first SDK available to registered developers. In 2009, KST was accepted into Apple's Made for iPod program, allowing KST to offer Design Services for iOS-based hardware accessory design. And, in early 2011, KST was approved by Apple to not only offer Design Services but also create their own hardware accessories, which talk natively to iOS applications through either wired or wireless communications.

In 2009, KST made the decision to stop offering website development services and to focus exclusively on mobile computing software applications and hardware accessories. To date, KST has released 15+ applications for other companies through contract and has prototyped 8+ hardware accessories exclusively for iOS devices. KST has relationships with everything from graphics artists to Android developers, allowing the company to continue its focus on mobile computing. With its website architecture background, KST is able to offer unique engineering services that can push data gathered by hardware to a mobile device and ultimately to any cloud-based server. KST's first major hardware launch which talks wirelessly with Apple's iPad, is slated for the third quarter of 2011 and is nearing development completion.
